Meyer Burger receives large order of about CHF 10 million for delivery and the provision of the basic elements for a photovoltaic production integrated South America line

Meyer Burger Technology Ltd (SIX Swiss Exchange: MBTN) today announced a major contract with a European client. The order consists of delivery and configuration of equipment high-precision wafer and cell of about CHF 10 million. Systems form the basic components of a line of integrated photovoltaic production of ingot of monocrystalline silicon solar module which is to be built in South America. The plant has an annual capacity of 70 MW. Solar modules produced locally will be used primarily to meet the needs of power supply to the respective country.
